In celebration of cultural diversity in Cumberland County, the library would like to acknowledge Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 through October 15, as well as the 31st annual International Folk Festival on September 25 through 27. Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County Fayetteville has a rich and long history of celebrating its multicultural population. Years ago, a group of forward thinking citizens got together to create the International Folk Festival as a celebration of our diversity. Now in its 31st year, the International Folk Festival has become a weekend long celebration.
