Librarian II Youth Services #117000046

An employee in this position is required to provide reference service and readers’ advisory in youth literature. Develops and presents programs for youth from birth through grade 12. Youth Services Division Manager#117000082

An employee in this position performs complex administrative and advanced professional library work in system-wide planning, implementation and evaluation of the programs and services areas impacting Youth (customer’s birth through 18). Learning & Innovation Coordinator Position #117000057

An employee in this position develops, coordinates and presents training and development for library staff that ensures a high level of competency in the delivery of customer service. Assesses and evaluates effectiveness of training. Oversees the training of staff in all skills and competencies as it relates to library services. Creates instructional videos for library staff in consultation with senior staff and regularly updates the library's training portal – including training documents, videos, checklists, and staff development plan. Ensures that competencies are reflective of changing service needs in the library. Works with Library HR to ensure training checklists and methods of training are accurate and accessible. Facilitates and encourages the exploration of innovation in services and programs. Participates in councils and meetings to communicate and seek input on training issues.

LIBRARIAN I/IS FTCC LIAISON #117000212

The FTCC Librarian I Liaison is funded by FTCC through contractual agreement, and works at the Spring Lake Branch Library. This librarian works the adult reference desk and performs related tasks in support of the Spring Lake Branch Library and its customers. Delivers incoming FTCC student library orientations, to introduce information literacy and library services. Records statistics related to orientations, and classroom visits.
