The popular Cliffdale Regional Branch opened in March 1991 and serves the ever-growing western region of Cumberland County. In 2007-08, an average of 20,843 people per month visited Cliffdale Regional Branch, using the library in a variety of ways: approximately 29,000 books, sound recordings, videos and magazines were borrowed each month; 5,355 reference questions were answered monthly; and an average of 5,423 adults used the computers available to the public.

The 18,000 square foot Cliffdale Regional Branch provides three service desks-Circulation, Information, and Children's-and features:

• Children's Story Room with space for more than 70 children to participate in toddler, preschool and school age programs
• Activity Room
• Conference Room with seating for 8 people
• Computer area with 20 computers providing access to word processing and the internet
• separate children's area with 4 computers featuring educational games, word processing and limited Internet use
• 2 photocopiers and a FAX machine for public use
